Most Elrare pieces are western in cut rather than shalwar-kameez: long frocks, A-line maxis, empire-waist dresses, and kameez-length tunics. What Elrare pret means
Pret is short for prêt-à-porter. In Pakistan the word has been local for two decades.
It means finished, fitted womenswear sold in standard sizes. For many women buying clothes in Pakistan today, pret is the way clothes are bought.
Elrare works inside that definition, with three particulars. The catalog is small on purpose — fifteen to thirty pieces per design, not fifteen hundred. The fabric is sourced for each design, not pulled from a roll of whatever was in stock; the chiffon is chosen for how it falls, the crepe for how it holds a fitted bodice, the lawn for how it takes print. The design team resolves silhouette, neckline, sleeve length, and finishing in-house before a single piece is sold.
Each piece arrives as a finished garment in Small, Medium, or Large, with the cut, neckline, sleeve length, and finishing already resolved. No tailor visit. No fabric guess. No commissioning.

Maxis
Our Pakistani designer maxis cover most of the occasion wardrobe. A family lunch, an evening plan, a wedding event that calls for more form. Soft chiffons and structured crepes in florals, botanicals, and quiet solids. A-line silhouettes, modest necklines, long or three-quarter sleeves, floor-length hems.
Tops
Tunics, kameez cuts, and pret tops that pair with what is already in your wardrobe — trousers, palazzos, jeans. Modest in cut, finished in-house, in prints and solids that hold across seasons.
Co-ord sets
A matched two-piece set — kameez or tunic top with palazzos, wide-leg, or straight trousers — in the same print or fabric, sold and styled as one outfit. The pairing is already decided.
Kaftans

Every piece begins with a length of fabric on the table. We spend time understanding how it falls, how it holds a print, how it behaves after a long day of wear. We source from Pakistan’s most respected fabric markets, and from abroad when the piece is genuinely better for it. From there: cutting, stitching, finishing, a last check. The catalog is small on purpose.
